About Titan's Pho - Huntington Beach
A Family Legacy in Every Bowl
Titan's Pho isn't just a restaurant. It's the story of a woman named Titan, who cooked her way out of survival and into something extraordinary. Her journey began in a small, impoverished village in Laos, where she was the second oldest of six children. When her father passed away, Titan took on a role far beyond her years. At just 14, she became the one who fed her siblings while her mother worked tirelessly to keep the family afloat.
By 18, her path took her through war-torn Vietnam, then on a dangerous escape to Thailand, and eventually by boat to Germany. There, she built a new life as a wife, mother, and entrepreneur—owning her own beauty salon while continuing to cook, not as a job, but as a gift to her community.
For over 20 years, Titan (From name: Thi Thanh originally) became known for her food at family parties, cultural gatherings, and local celebrations. Her food was always the centerpiece, always made with passion.
Then, a new chapter opened. She remarried and moved to California, and with the support of her husband, Titan pursued the dream she'd carried her whole life: opening her own restaurant..
In 2015, with no investors, no business training, and no marketing plan—only grit and heart—Titan opened her first restaurant in San Juan Capistrano, CA. She cried, stumbled, worked through long nights and empty tables. But she never stopped. Slowly, word spread. Customers returned. Community grew.
Today, that same spirit continues at Titan's Pho in Huntington Beach. Now guided by her son, who brings a fresh vision and business expertise to expand and rebrand the restaurant, Titan's Pho remains grounded in its original mission:
To serve food made from love, shaped by heritage, and powered by resilience
Real flavor comes from time, technique, and tradition—not shortcuts.
Our broths simmer for hours, our sauces are house-made, and every dish starts fresh.
We don’t just serve food — we serve a story, and you’re a part of it.
You shouldn’t have to choose between quality and price. Good food should be within reach.
Southeast Asian flavors, made fresh and fast — never rushed.
